  • Low operating cost and very reliable
  • P40 or P75 vibratory cable plow for pipe and wire installations
  • Trencher / plow / hydraborer combination possible
  • 12 months parts and labor warranty coverage
  • Flexible warranty protection plans

Engine

  • 37 horsepower water-cooled diesel engine (33 hp net)
  • Kubota V1505-B engine has tunnel bore crank shaft for low vibration
  • TVCS (triple vortex combustion system) provides a very fuel-efficient engine
  • Single stage air cleaner
  • Warning light for plugged air filter
  • 2 year or 1000 hour engine warranty
  • 2-position tilt-up hood allows easy access to engine
  • Glow plugs in combustion chamber for pre-heating for cold weather starting
  • An optional block heater is available also

Propulsion system

  • Hydrostatic propulsion system has infinite speed control
  • Equal speeds (0-3.9 mph with large tires) forward and reverse
  • Directional change forward to reverse without clutching or shifting
  • No belts, chains, or drive sprockets to maintain
  • Hydraulic pump connected to motor mounted on transmission
  • Motor drives mechanical transmission connected to rear axle
  • Driveshaft connects transmission to front axle
  • Dana model 44 axles have limited slip differentials to proportion torque to wheels
  • Frame oscillates 10 degrees to allow wheels to stay in contact with ground in uneven terrain
  • Propulsion speed is controlled by (tall) 2-lever control
  • Crowd speed is controlled by (short) 2-lever control
  • Hydrostatic drive provides hydrodynamic braking feature
  • Tire options include 23x10.50x12, 4pr standard and heavy duty, and 26x12x12, 8pr heavy duty

Brakes

  • Hydrodynamic braking occurs while engine is running
  • Emergency / parking brake is hand actuated over-center design
  • Brake exceeds SAE qualifications for an emergency brake
  • Disc and caliper brake is mounted on driveline

Steering System

  • Articulated steering provides excellent maneuverability
  • 28 degree steer angle obtains a 6' inside-tire turning radius
  • Steering is controlled using 2-lever control on console
  • Front and rear wheels follow same track
  • Trencher does not under-cut trench in turns and plow follows on center

Hydraulic System

  • Tandem hydraulic gear pump is direct driven off hydrostat pump
  • One section for steering and attachment lift flow
  • Other section provides flow to attachment circuit
  • 16.4 gpm flow to plow, hydrabore, or trencher
  • Hydraulic controls are located within easy reach of operator
  • Hydraulic oil cooler maintains optimum operating temperature
  • Hydraulic filter installed to purify oil during operation

Electrical System

  • 12 volt system
  • 30 amp alternator
  • 1.4 Kw starter
  • Seat interlock system
  • Ignition key for engine starts and stops
  • Warning lights and analog gauges to monitor systems
  • Seat interlock circuit prevents operation when not in seated
  • Neutral-start switch on propulsion linkage for safety

Attachment Options

  • P40 or P75 vibratory cable plows capable of installations to 24" deep
  • Mounted on center and has free-swing to trail unit -- pin to lock in transport position
  • Two-position mounting for use with either tire size
  • Isolation mounts on plow links reduce vibration transmission into machine
  • Maximum blade vibration 2381 oscillations per minute on P40
  • Maximum blade vibration 2200 oscillations per minute on P75
  • Vibration generated by counter-rotating weights inside gearbox
    • P40 with 7000 pounds of vertical force
    • P75 with 12000 pounds of vertical force
  • Plow has hydraulic lift and down pressure to maintain blade depth
  • Plow skid shoes reduce restoration requirements
  • Blade mounted with two pins for easy installation
  • Blades with fixed and floating chutes are available
  • Also blades with bullets for pulling in semi-rigid materials

Front mount reel carrier attachment is available

  • Maximum spool size of 22" wide and 32" diameter
  • Maximum reel weight capacity is 200 lbs
  • Cable guides available to direct wire from reel to plow

Front mount trencher attachment is available

  • Weight of engine stabilizes trencher while digging
  • Shock loads from trenching are away from operator's seat
  • Trencher is driven off hydraulics with relief valve to protect drive components from shock load
  • Heavy Duty booms lengths to attain 24" and 36" dig depth
  • Cup teeth set-ups to trench 4" or 6" trenches
  • 2 and 4 pitch 38K chain options can be fitted with cup teeth, Sharks teeth, rock and frost, and mixed cutters
  • Chain tension is adjusted mechanically by jacking bolt
  • Personnel safety restraint bar is standard with trencher
  • Pin-on trencher design allows quick installation / removal and allows it to be swung out for access to battery

Front mounted hydraborer for horizontal boring under obstructions

  • Motor positioned low to minimize bow in drill stem
  • Stem rotation (320 rpm) is bi-directional (291 ft lbs torque)
  • Drill stems (10' length) and variety of bits / compactors / reamers to bore up to 6" diameter holes
  • Guide posts and level guide are available for safe operation

Dual wheel kit is available to increase flotation and unit stability
